BALLOT DEADLINE EXTENDED TO MAY 27, 2021 - BDCA Election for Seat Representing Retired and Separated From Service Participants
Certain eligible participants did not receive ballots in sufficient time to cast their votes in the election for the Board seat representing retired and separated from service participants. As a result, the election date has been extended to May 27, 2021. Please note the following:
Ballots received by the original due date of May 13th are not impacted; if you have already voted and mailed in your ballot, no further action is necessary.
If you have not cast your ballot, you may still do so. Ballots must be received by the Office of the City Clerk – Election Division no later than Thursday, May 27, 2021, at 5:00 p.m.
If you retired or otherwise separated from City service after April 13th and wish to vote, you must obtain a certificate of eligibility to vote by calling Mindy Lam at (213) 978-1644.
If you damage, spoil, lose, or do not receive your official ballot, please contact the Office of the City Clerk – Election Division by emailing Clerk.ElectionAdmin@lacity.org.
